new hunting kit and misc. updates

Well, I guess all the hunters in our family rubbed off on me because I was inspired to make a hunting kit. I hope to do an add-on to this with additional animals and elements but we'll see if time allows it. This time of year is always so chaotic!

Here are the munchkins on Halloween. I have tons more pictures of course but I hope to get them scrapped and show you a completed layout with the pictures.

Time has been flying by lately with all the activities that the kids are involved with and getting ready for the upcoming holidays. We've been working on finishing up the kitchen too. It's really looking great. That's another project that I hope to share on here eventually. I need to go through all the pictures I have and get them into some sort of order. Then I can properly show the progress that's been made. :)

Kyle's been having fun with various cub scout events. He seems to really enjoy it.

Both kids are still bowling once a week too. Kyle is very competitive and always wants to get the highest score. We try to tell him it's just for fun but he mainly wants to know he scored higher than his sister. She's gaining on him though and one of these days she's going to beat him. LOL

Ya know...as I'm writing this I'm feeling inspired to grab the paint, do the touch ups on the kitchen ceiling and start hanging decorations in there. I've been waiting forever now to be able to decorate that room and I think the touch ups are all that's left so that I can start. Instead of waiting for Jason to have a free night I think I'm just going to tackle it myself. Hopefully I'll be tall enough on our step ladder to reach it! It's oil based paint so that's why I've been leaving it up to Jason but oh well. I'm not that wimpy. hee hee

So, I think I'm going to wrap this up and go tackle some of the house projects. In case I don't get back on here in time to update this blog, have a wonderful Thanksgiving!!!!
