latest layout

This was my final entry in the Funk It Up contest. The winner of the contest will be announced probably later today. I know it wasn't me because I was a ding-a-ling and missed the deadline for one of the bonus rounds. Putting me 5 points behind. :(

But, I'm still very happy with the layouts I created for the contest. It's always fun to challenge myself this way. There's another contest starting at another site that I think I'm join in on as well.

The kids have been off from school for almost a week now. They go back tomorrow. We've survived the Easter break fairly well but today the patience is wearing thin. I'll be glad to have them go back soon. It's just frustrating because they had a week off for spring break, went to school Mon. - Thurs. and then had another week off. All grades except kindergarten went back to school today. But today is kindergarten roundup for next year's kids so Kyle doesn't have school. And to top it off, it's snowing here. So I can't even send them outside to play. And poor Daisy is freaking about and went go outside to go potty. She stands at the store and starts to shiver then turns around and runs back in the house. Silly dog.

Well, I have a kit that I need to get put in the store today. One of the gals is featuring it tomorrow and I don't even have it up for sale yet. LOL Better get a move on it!

Oh, we talked with the contractor and the work on the house should start in the next couple weeks. Although we're thinking about having him wait until it warms up enough that we could go camping while they are working here instead of being relocated to a hotel or something. We'll see how that all works out. All I know is that I'm getting more and more anxious to have my kitchen redone!!!!

Alright, back to work. And of course Kyle is right here begging me for the computer so he can play his games. Makes it a bit hard to focus on my kit. C'mon Thursday! I need some quiet time!!! LOL
