New layouts, new kit and misc.

Hi everyone! Sorry I haven't been better about keeping this updated. I have TONS of pictures that I need to get downloaded off my camera and share with you. Recently we have gone to Adventureland, the kids started bowling, Mason had his 1st b-day, and I've been scrapping new layouts. I can share the new layouts today and hopefully I'll have some of the other pictures ready soon. First, here's a new kit I created call Autumn Glow. It's for sale at http://www.kbandfriends.com/

And here are some recent layouts I've done. :)

new layouts of Julia and Mason

Wanted to share the layouts I made using the new pictures of Julia and Mason. :)
Aren't they getting big?

Last night Kyle and Eve had their first night of bowling. Kyle had a blast. Jenevieve looked a bit bored by it but she enjoyed being with all the kids. It was especially fun since all of the neighborhood kids are in the same group. So 6 of the kids there were from our little part of town. :)
Well, we're packing up and getting ready to head out for our weekend at Adventureland. Tons to do so I'd better get moving. I'll share pictures Mon. or Tues. Have a great weekend everyone!!!!

Jenevieve's first day of preschool

Jenevieve's first day of school went very well. Thanks to her need to color her teacher a picture and her unwillingness to get her hair brushed we were rushing out the door trying to get to class on time. Because of that I only had a minute (if even) to snap a picture and run to the van. And of course she plastered on her fake smile. lol Oh well. Better than nothing I suppose. Here's the scrapbook page I made about her first day.

The journaling on the layout says:
Since this is your second year of preschool there wasn’t quite the same buzz about it as there was last year. You were definitely still excited to go back to school and couldn’t wait to see your friends again. But you had a different aprpoach to the day this year. More laid back, like an old pro at this whole going to school thing. Once at school you were happy to find that several of your friends that were in last year’s class are in your class again this year. Rory, McKenna and Sophia wereall there. As well as Christopher and Kaden. After school you requested a treat so we came home and made cookies. It wasn’t long after that you fell asleep on the couch.

Yesterday Katie brought the kids over for me to take pictures of and I really enjoyed doing that. We went to a small area that's by the 4H grounds that the local master gardeners tend to. It's really pretty. I got several cute shots of the kids but I'm not going to share them on here yet because Katie's planning on using them for their b-day invitations and to hand out to family. Don't want to ruin the surprise of what the pictures look like. ;)

Well, I'd love to write more but it's late and my eyes are telling me it's time for bed. I just finished that scrapbook page a few minutes ago and wanted to share it with you all. Enjoy the rest of your weekend!
