Kyle's big night!
Kyle lost his first baby tooth last night. He was SO excited about it too. :) Earlier in the day we had noticed that his permanent tooth had pushed through behind it so we were anxious for the baby tooth to come out and make room. Well just a few hours later out it came. You can see the new tooth right behind the old opening now. This morning he woke up to find 4 quarters in his tooth box. Actually, he woke up in the middle of the night to go to the bathroom and in the process checked his box to see if the tooth fairy had come yet. Seeing that it had he ran into my room and woke me up to tell me. That was around 2:30 am. LOL But when he woke up this morning he was still just as excited to show Daddy and Jenevieve. The tooth next to the one he just lost is also pretty wiggly so I'm guessing it'll be coming out soon too. And one of his top front teeth is also starting to wiggle. He'll be missing all 4 front ones before long. Oh how fast he keeps changing and growing. Just had to share with all of you!!!! (Sorry for the crummy pictures but we took them in the bathroom and the lighting in there wasn't good at all.)

3 new pages
Here are 3 layouts I scrapped for challenges at www.digiscrapdivas.com. I'd scrapped the pictures of Dad before but wasn't overly thrilled with how it'd came out so I redid them for the challenge and am much happier now. The other picture of Jenevieve was perfect for the song lyrics that we had to use in the challenge. "I hope that the days come easy and the moments pass slow,And each road leads you where you want to go." My Wish by Rascal Flatts. And of course I had to scrap sweet little Mason. This was for a sketch challenge where they provided a template for me to use. Enjoy! :)

Layout of Julia using my new kit
I decided to try to break up my personal blog and my business information. So if anyone wants to see what new items I've created for sale my digital scrapbooking blog is http://designsbyjennifer.blogspot.com/
I just released a new Valentine kit that I used to scrap this cute baby picture of Julia. :) (it's not letting me add the pic, I'll try to add it in a seperate post)
It's snowing pretty good here today. Still freezing cold too. Yesterday we had a 2 hour late start for school for the cold and today there wasn't a late start. But the roads are already getting messy so I'll be watching for an early dismissal if the snow continues like this all day. They are predicting a high of 11 degrees today which is warmer than it's been so I guess I'll take it. lol
We still haven't heard from the contractor for the grant project. It's frustrating being left in the dark about it all. And since our first payment on our portion of the loan is due this month I'd really like to see some work begin. I spent yesterday cleaning the office and trying to uncover my disaster area of a desk. I pretty much live in this room and everything just clutters up around me. I got dishes done last night before Jason got home from work but then I cooked dinner and we ate and it looks like I didn't do a darn thing. That's the irritating thing about housework. I waited most of the day yesterday to do laundry because I thought the machine was frozen. In the morning it really was frozen and the water didn't come out. But later I was able to fill it with hot water (trying to unthaw it) but it wouldn't aggitate. Then it finally started to aggitate but it wouldn't spin out the water. So I gave up and waited for Jason to get home. He fiddled with it and couldn't figure out why it wasn't spinning either. Finally it hit him, the lid needs to be shut!!!! Doh, can you say blond moment????? Why didn't I think of that? I'd been watching it so closely all day trying to make sure that it was working ok so I wouldn't break any parts on it like I did last winter when it froze and I'd had the lid open all day trying to make sure everything was going ok. It didn't even dawn on me that I needed to shut the lid. I'm a dork! LOL
Well, it's about time to get Jenevieve to school. I get to drive around in this slippery mess again. What fun. I had some errands I was going to run today to but I think I'll take her to school and come home and watch a movie I checked out from the library instead. It's pure white when I look out the window so going from store to store doesn't sound all that great.
Jenevieve has been avoiding me though because she knows I need to brush her hair before school. She had a bath last night and it's been washed and conditioned so it shouldn't be too bad but she just hates it and fights me tooth and nail when it comes to her hair. As soon as she sees the brush she starts to cry. So, I'm off to go tackle that battle. Wish me luck! LOL
